Body – Binocular head inclined at 45° for fatigue free working
with independent compensating adjustment on right eye tube,
head rotatable through 360°, fitted with quality prismatic set.
Head interchangeable with straight tube for micro-photography.
Adjustable inter-pupillary distance 55 to 75mm.
Stage – Large moving stage 120 x 140mm fitted with a co-axial
X-Y graduated Mechanical Stage. The movable Abbe Condenser
has a N.A. (Numeric Aperture) of 1.2 with iris diaphragm and swing-
out filter carrier and a blue filter.
Nose Piece – Quadruple revolving nose-piece with accurate
click-stops for perfect parfocal alignment.
Focusing – Rack and pinion mechanism for coarse focusing and
improved worm and gear mechanism for fine focusing reading to
0.002mm.
Illumination – An in-built 6V, 20W lamp with intensity variable through
transformer operating on 220V, 50 Hz A.C. mains. Socket provided for
attaching a plano-concave mirror.
Standard Optics – Huygenian Eye-piece 5X paired and 10X Wide-
Field paired.
Achromatic Objectives 4X, 10X, 40X & 100X (Oil Immersed).
Finish – Staple cream.
